Paypal and Alertpay are payment processors like an online bank, this is where the PTC sites will pay you. Kahit walang bank account or credit card pwede pa rin sumali o magregister sa mga sites. Pero recomended din nmn magkaroon ng account for your own convenience na rin. Why not apply for an eon visa debit card sa unionbank, just like what I did. No minimum deposit.
History of my eon card:
May 5,2009 (Tue) - I went to Unionbank World Centre in Makati near Mapua Institute. I answered a form, I brought the photocopy of my 2 valid id (sss id/postal id) and my IDs itself. I was advised that it will take 7-10 business days to claim it.
May 8, 2009 (Fri) - I called the hotline of unionbank to check if its already for pick up, and they said its still in the process.
May 11, 2009 (Mon) - I called unionbank hotline to check and its for pick up. It took only 3days not including weekends. I picked it up, I paid 350.00, they told me that I have to wait till tomorrow (Tue) before using it cause they still have to activate it.
May 12, 2009 (Tue) -log in to the site www.unionbank.com.ph, Went to cyber account log in. I link it to my paypal account. I have to wait for 2-3days at least to call again there hotline for the 4 digit pin no. so I can verify my paypal account. After 2 days i called again and its DONE! I made it.
How to add the Unionbank Eon Card to Paypal
1> To open an EON Account, go to Unionbank’s website and sign up for the EON Visa Electron account. Choose the Unionbank branch where you want to claim your card.
2> Claim your card after a week or 2.
3> Once you have your card, deposit at least Php200.
4> Enroll your card to EON CyberAccount Online Banking. It will take 2-3 days to be activated.
5> After 2-3 days, login to Cyber Account Online Banking to check if your account has been activated. If you were able to login, then it is activated :)
6> Go to Paypal and add your EON card.
7> After 4-5 days, contact the Unionbank Customer Service Call Center at 84-186 and ask for your 4-digit PayPal expanded use code.
8> Go back to your Paypal account and click on Finish Expanded Use Enrollment and enter the 4 digit code that is given to you.
And that’s it, you’re verified!
